# How to use the Wassuply customer portal Source: https://wassuply.com/docs/customer-portal/ Updated: 2026-10-30 · Wassuply 1.0.4 for Windows and macOS > The Wassuply customer portal at wassuply.com/portal/ is the web account behind the desktop app. You sign in with the same email and password, download the app for Windows or Mac, follow a 4-step Get started checklist, and manage your plan, devices, invoices, support tickets and referrals. It also has two tools: Phone verification with your own NumLookupAPI key, and a WhatsApp ban appeal writer. ## Key facts - The Wassuply customer portal uses the same email and password as the desktop app, and changing the password in the portal changes it for both. - The Wassuply portal only lets you request another confirmation email every 60 seconds, and the Resend email button counts down until it is allowed. - The Wassuply portal's Get started checklist has 4 steps: download the app, install and sign in, activate your plan, and connect your first WhatsApp number. - Deauthorising a computer in the Wassuply portal's Devices & sessions tab frees its seat for another computer. - Every payment in the Wassuply portal's Billing tab has an invoice you can open and save as a PDF, showing your company name and tax or VAT ID if you add them. - Wassuply portal Phone verification checks numbers with your own NumLookupAPI key, whose free plan allows 100 checks a month at 10 a minute. - The Wassuply portal's Ban appeal tool has 50 templates: 10 ban reasons, each in 5 tones. ## What is the Wassuply customer portal? The customer portal at wassuply.com/portal/ is where you manage your Wassuply account in a browser. It uses the same login as the desktop app, which is where you actually warm up and send. The sidebar has these sections: | Group | Tabs | | --- | --- | | (top) | **Get started**, with a progress badge such as 2/4 | | Workspace | **Overview**, **Download**, **Devices & sessions**, **Billing**, **Support**, **Refer & earn** | | Tools | **Phone verification**, **Ban appeal** | | Account | **Settings** | **Download** is a full page: choose **Mac** or **Windows**, then download and follow the step-by-step install guide for that computer. A download card under the menu shows the current version (1.0.4) and an **Install steps** link to it. Each tab has its own address ending in #download, #billing and so on, so you can bookmark it. ## How do I create an account and sign in? Create your free account at [sign-up](https://wassuply.com/signup/) or with **Create account** on the portal login card, confirm your email, then log in with that email and password. Use the email your plan is under. - **Sign-up page.** /signup/ asks for your WhatsApp number, email, name and a password of at least 8 characters, then sends a confirmation email. - **Confirm your email.** After sign-up the card changes to **Check your email**. The confirmation link brings you back to the portal on **Get started**. If you log in before confirming, the portal reminds you to confirm first. - **Resend email.** Only one email per address is allowed every 60 seconds, so **Resend email** counts down before it works again. Check spam before resending. - **Or email me a login link.** Sends a one-tap login link to an existing account, with no password needed. If you forgot your password, use it, then set a new one in **Settings**. - **Remember me** fills in your email next time. After too many wrong passwords, sign-in for that email is paused for a few minutes and the message says how long. ## What is the Get started checklist and how does each step tick? Get started is a 4-step checklist that ticks itself from what the portal can see. It is your landing tab until all 4 steps are done or you press **Skip for now** or **All set - go to my overview →**; until then Overview shows a **Finish setting up** reminder. | Step | Ticks when | | --- | --- | | 1. Download Wassuply | You click any download button in the portal, or a computer already appears under Devices | | 2. Install it and sign in | Your computer appears under **Devices & sessions** after you sign in to the app | | 3. Activate your plan | Your plan status is Active; until then the step offers a purchase link and **I have a gift / activation code** | | 4. Connect your first WhatsApp number | At least one WhatsApp number is backed up to the cloud vault from the app's My Account | > **Tip:** The download tick and the skip choice are remembered in the browser you used. The other steps come from your account, so they show on any browser. App setup is covered in [getting started](https://wassuply.com/docs/getting-started/). ## What do Overview and Devices & sessions show? **Overview** is the summary of your plan and usage; **Devices & sessions** lists the computers signed in to your account and your cloud backups. - **Current plan**: Plan name, status (**Active**, **Expired**, **Revoked**, **Suspended** or **No plan**) and expiry date or Lifetime plan, with **Renew or choose a plan →** when not active, plus **Manage billing** and **Redeem a code**. - **Stats**: **WhatsApp accounts (limit)**, **Device seats**, **Days remaining** and **Cloud sessions**, then an Activity line with when the app was last active and how many devices are online. - **Your devices**: Device, system and app version, last seen and an online, offline or revoked status. **Deauthorize** frees that seat; the app there stops sending, and signing in there again reclaims a free seat. - **Cloud sessions**: WhatsApp numbers backed up to the encrypted cloud vault, with phone, size, status and date. You restore them from the desktop app, not the portal. Seats, plan states and moving computers are explained in [plans, licences and devices](https://wassuply.com/docs/plans-licences-devices/). ## What can I do in Billing? **Billing** shows your plan's renewal status and lets you renew, redeem a code, get invoices, set billing details and request cancellation. **Renew / upgrade →** opens [pricing](https://wassuply.com/pricing/). - **Have a gift or activation code?** Enter it and press **Redeem**. Each code works once and the desktop app picks up the plan within about a minute. - **Purchase history** lists every payment with date, amount, method and status. **View invoice** opens the invoice in a new tab (allow pop-ups); **Download PDF** there opens your browser's print dialog, where you save it as a PDF. - **Billing details**: **Company name** and **Tax / VAT ID** are optional and appear on invoices after **Save billing details**. - **Cancel your plan**: add an optional reason and press **Request cancellation**. This sends a cancellation request to the Wassuply team as a support ticket, and access stays active until the end of the current period. ## How do support tickets and Refer & earn work? **Support** is where you open and follow tickets; **Refer & earn** gives you a code to share. Replies to tickets arrive in the portal and by email. - **Open a ticket**: enter a **Subject** and **Message** and press **Submit ticket**. **Your tickets** shows each conversation; reply with **Send** while it is open, and rate the help from 1 to 5 stars once it is closed. **Book a call** opens the [demo booking page](https://wassuply.com/demo/). - **Your referral code**: **Copy code** or **Copy invite link** (a pricing link carrying your code). **Friends joined** and **Rewards earned** count your referrals, and the table lists friends with a masked email, status and join date. - **Were you invited?** Enter a friend's code and press **Apply code** to credit them. ## How does Phone verification work in the portal? Phone verification checks a CSV of numbers with your own NumLookupAPI account: whether each number is valid, whether it is a mobile, and its carrier and country. It does not check whether a number has WhatsApp. **How to verify a list of phone numbers in the Wassuply portal** 1. **Save your key**: Create a free account at NumLookupAPI, paste the key into **Your NumLookupAPI key** and press **Save & test**. The status shows checks left this month; the test does not use one. 2. **Load a CSV**: Drop a CSV with a header row (up to 25 MB) or press **Download a sample CSV**. The number column is picked automatically; change it under **Column with the numbers** if needed. 3. **Choose options**: Set **Default country** (two letters, such as GB) for numbers without a country code, and **Speed**: Auto, Careful (10 a minute, for the free plan) or Fast. 4. **Start verification**: Press **Start verification**. Counters show Checked, Valid, Mobile, Invalid and Failed; **Stop** keeps what is done. 5. **Download**: Press **Download results CSV** (your columns plus a wassuply_result column and NumLookupAPI's fields), **Valid numbers only** or **Valid mobiles only**. The key is saved to your Wassuply account, so it works on any browser you log in from. Numbers go from your browser straight to NumLookupAPI, not through Wassuply's servers. On a rate limit the tool waits 61 seconds and retries; it stops if your monthly quota runs out or the key is rejected. Results stay in the tab until you download them, and the table shows the first 300 rows. ## How do Ban appeal and Settings work? **Ban appeal** writes a review request for a banned WhatsApp number, and **Settings** holds your profile and password. - **Ban appeal**: type the banned number, choose one of 10 reasons and a tone (**Professional**, **Heartfelt**, **Detailed**, **Brief** or **Urgent**), edit the text if you like and press **Copy appeal**. Paste it into WhatsApp's **Request a Review** form on your phone. See [ban recovery](https://wassuply.com/docs/ban-recovery/). - **Profile**: your email (read-only), **Display name**, **Phone** and **Address**. **Save profile** syncs them to the desktop app. - **Security**: a **New password** of at least 8 characters and **Update password**. The same password signs you in to the app. - **Log out**, here or in the top bar, signs you out of the portal. > **Tip:** On the **Download** page, Mac users get Apple Silicon and Intel builds for macOS 12 or later, with SHA-256 checksums. The Mac app is not yet notarised by Apple, so the guide has you run one Terminal command before the first launch, `xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Wassuply.app`, with a **Copy** button, or use **System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway** instead. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is the portal login the same as the app login? Yes. One email and password work in both, and a password changed in the portal's Settings also changes it for the app. ### Why does it say I can only request this after a few seconds? Only one confirmation or login email per address is allowed every 60 seconds. Your first email was already sent; wait for the countdown, check spam, then press **Resend email**. ### I forgot my password. How do I get back in? Press **Or email me a login link** on the login card, open the link, then set a new password under **Settings → Security**. ### Why has step 4 of Get started not ticked? The portal learns about your WhatsApp numbers from the cloud vault. Back up at least one linked number from **My Account** in the app and the step ticks. ### Does portal Phone verification tell me if a number is on WhatsApp? No. It checks whether the number is valid, its line type, carrier and country. An in-app WhatsApp check is listed as coming soon; see [utilities](https://wassuply.com/docs/utilities/). ### Does Request cancellation end my access straight away? No. It sends a request to the Wassuply team, who follow up by email, and access stays active until the end of the current period. Wassuply is independent software. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
