# Wassuply Settings: every option and its default Source: https://wassuply.com/docs/settings/ Updated: 2026-10-30 · Wassuply 1.0.4 for Windows and macOS > Wassuply's Settings screen has 14 sections, from Profile and Sending to Privacy, Logs & Data and the Danger Zone. Switches save the moment you flip them; number and text fields save when you click Save Changes. Key defaults: 80 messages per number per day, 30 to 90 second gaps, batches of 10, and 7 days of activity logs. In the app: Sidebar → Settings ## Key facts - Wassuply's Global Daily Send Limit defaults to 80 messages a day for every number that has no daily limit of its own. - By default Wassuply waits a random 30 to 90 seconds between campaign messages and pauses 60 to 300 seconds after every 10 messages. - Smart Send Protection is a warning only by default; when you turn on enforcement, Wassuply slows a number from risk score 60 and skips it from 80. - Wassuply keeps 5 WhatsApp sessions loaded at once by default, adjustable from 1 to 20 with Warm Pool Size. - Wassuply's default opt-out keywords are stop, unsubscribe, opt out, optout, remove me, dont contact and do not contact. - Reset All Settings in Wassuply restores factory defaults without touching your accounts, campaigns, contacts or warm-up sessions. ## Where are Settings and how do changes save? Open Settings from the gear at the bottom of the sidebar, or press Cmd+, on a Mac. The left column lists 14 sections; pick one to see its options on the right. - **Switches** save instantly. If a save fails, the switch flips back and you see an error. - **Number and text fields** are buffered. A **Save Changes** button appears after you edit one; click it before leaving. - **Opt-out keywords** have their own **Save Keywords** button, and **Your Name** has its own **Save**. - Typing outside a field's range is not blocked, so keep to the ranges in the tables below. ## What is in Profile? Profile shows who is signed in and lets you set how your name appears. - **Email**: The email you sign in with. Read-only. - **Plan**: Your plan name with its number and device limits. Read-only; manage it in **My Account** or the [customer portal](https://wassuply.com/docs/customer-portal/). - **Your Name**: Blank by default. Synced with your portal profile and used for the Welcome back greeting. - **Business Name**: Optional, blank by default, kept on this computer only. ## Which Sending and Campaign Defaults options are there? Sending controls how sessions load and the global safety limits. Campaign Defaults pre-fill every new campaign; you can still change them per campaign in the wizard. | Setting | Default | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Auto-load all accounts on startup | On | Opens sessions in the background at launch, up to the Warm Pool Size. | | Warm Pool Size | 5 (1 to 20) | How many WhatsApp sessions stay loaded at once. 3 to 10 is recommended. | | Global Daily Send Limit | 80 (1 to 1,000) | Daily cap for each number without its own limit. | | Cross-campaign cooldown | 0 hours, off (0 to 720) | Stops a different campaign messaging the same number within this time. | | Default country code | Blank, off | Added to pasted numbers that look local (7 to 10 digits). Digits only. | | Auto opt-out on replies (STOP / unsubscribe) | On | Stops all sending to anyone who replies with an opt-out keyword. | | Reply scan interval | 3 minutes (1 to 60) | How often numbers are checked for new replies. | | Min Delay / Max Delay | 30 / 90 seconds | Random wait between messages (5 to 300 and 5 to 600). | | Batch Size | 10 messages (1 to 500) | Messages sent before a longer pause. | | Pause Min / Pause Max | 60 / 300 seconds | Length of the batch pause (10 to 3,600 and 10 to 7,200). | | Window opens / Window closes | 0 / 23 | Default sending hours. See the note below. | | Failure rate threshold | 0%, off (0 to 100) | Pauses a campaign when this share of messages fails, after at least 5 attempts. | | Enforce protection (auto-slow / auto-pause risky accounts) | Off | When on, a number slows down (up to 3 times its delay) from **Slow down at**, default 60, and is skipped from **Pause at**, default 80. | > **Tip:** In version 1.0.4 the campaign wizard sets its own sending window in step 4 (9:00 to 21:00 when you switch it on), so the Window opens and Window closes values here are not applied to new campaigns. Set the window in each campaign. See [Sending safety](https://wassuply.com/docs/sending-safety/) and [Health and risk](https://wassuply.com/docs/health-and-risk/). ## Which Warmup and Messaging options are there? Warmup holds the defaults for new warm-up sessions; Messaging adds an optional footer to campaign messages. | Setting | Default | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Messages Per Day | 20 (1 to 200) | Most warm-up messages one number sends per day. | | Min Delay / Max Delay | 30 / 120 seconds | Random gap between warm-up messages (5 to 300 and 5 to 600). | | Auto-resume warmup sessions on launch | Off | Restarts sessions that were running when the app closed. When off, they are set to stopped. | | Enable message footer | Off | Appends the footer text to every outgoing campaign message. | | Footer text | Blank | For example, Reply STOP to unsubscribe. A preview shows how it will look. | More on warm-up sessions in [Account warm-up](https://wassuply.com/docs/warmup/). ## How do you set up Voice Notes and the AI Consultant? Both sections take your own API key, which is stored on this computer and sent directly to the provider, never through Wassuply's servers. You pay the provider directly. - **ElevenLabs API key**: Blank by default. Once set, **AI Voice Note** becomes a message type in the campaign wizard. **Open Voice Library** takes you to voice tuning and testing. - **Provider**: **Claude (Anthropic)** by default, or **ChatGPT (OpenAI)** or **DeepSeek**. Each provider keeps its own saved key. - **API key**: Blank by default. **Get an API key** opens the provider's key page. - **Model**: Appears after a key is entered. Click **Verify key & load models**, then pick a model. See [AI features](https://wassuply.com/docs/ai-features/) and [Voice notes](https://wassuply.com/docs/voice-notes/). ## Which Notifications and App Behaviour options are there? Notifications decide which desktop alerts appear; App Behaviour decides how Wassuply starts and closes. Some labels differ between Windows and Mac. | Setting | Default | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | System tray notifications (Windows) / Desktop notifications (Mac) | On | Master switch for all desktop alerts. | | Campaign completed | On | Alert when a campaign finishes. | | Warmup daily limit reached | On | Alert when a number hits its warm-up messages per day. | | Group keyword flagged | Off on a new install | Alert when a tracked group's keyword is matched. | | Launch with Windows / Open at login | Off | Starts Wassuply when you log in to your computer. | | Start minimised to tray / Start hidden in the menu bar | Off | Starts without opening a window. | | Restore last open tab | On | Reopens the page you last used instead of Today. | | Close button hides to tray (Windows only) | Off | The X hides Wassuply to the tray; sessions keep running. Quit from the tray icon. | | Warn before closing | Off on a new install | Asks before quitting while a campaign or warm-up is running. | On a Mac the red close button always keeps Wassuply running in the background; quit with Cmd+Q. ## Which Privacy, Opt-Out and Logs & Data options are there? These sections control what is shown, what is recorded and which replies count as an opt-out. None of the privacy switches change how messages are sent. | Setting | Default | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Stealth Mode | Off | Pauses activity logging, hides phone numbers, blocks exports and hides Wassuply from the taskbar or Dock. | | Blur phone numbers | Off | Shows numbers as ••••••1234 on screen only. | | Disable all data export | Off | Blocks CSV and file exports. | | Global Keywords | stop, unsubscribe, opt out, optout, remove me, dont contact, do not contact | A reply with any keyword opts the contact out of all campaigns and sequences. | | Auto-clear after | 7 days (1 to 365) | Deletes log entries older than this, checked daily and at launch. Quick picks: 3, 7, 14, 30, 90 days or 1 year. | | Auto-clear old logs | On | When off, logs build up regardless of the window, up to the newest 10,000 entries. | Privacy also has **Clear Activity Logs** and **Clear Error Log**. Logs & Data has **Clear All Activity Logs** and an **Error Log** you can **View**, **Copy** and **Clear**, which is useful when contacting support. Per-campaign opt-out keywords are set in the campaign wizard. See [Opt-outs and blacklist](https://wassuply.com/docs/opt-outs-and-blacklist/). ## What do About and the Danger Zone do? About shows your Version, Electron, Platform and Node versions and has **Check for Updates**. The Danger Zone holds two actions that affect everything at once. - **Stop Everything - Panic Button**: **Stop All** pauses every running campaign and warm-up session on every number. Nothing is deleted; resume them from their own pages. - **Reset All Settings**: **Reset** returns settings to factory defaults. Accounts, campaigns, contacts and warm-up sessions are not affected. > **Caution:** Reset also turns **Restore last open tab**, **Warn before closing** and **Group keyword flagged** on. It does not reset the cross-campaign cooldown, default country code, reply scanning, opt-out keywords or your API keys. ## Frequently asked questions ### Why did my change not save? Number and text fields only save when you click **Save Changes**, which appears after you edit one. Switches save straight away. ### Is the global daily limit shared by all my numbers? No. It is a cap for each number that has no limit of its own, so with the default of 80, every such number can send up to 80 messages a day. ### Should I turn on Smart Send enforcement? Turn it on if you want Wassuply to slow or skip high-risk numbers for you. Left off, the risk score is shown as a warning and numbers send at the speed you set. ### Where do I find the update button? **Settings → About → Check for Updates**. On a Mac you can also use **Wassuply → Check for Updates...** in the menu bar. ### Are my API keys sent to Wassuply? No. AI and ElevenLabs keys are stored on your computer and sent only to the provider when a feature uses them. ### What does the panic button actually stop? Every running campaign and warm-up session on every number is paused. Nothing is deleted, and you resume each one by hand. ### Does Stealth Mode stop campaigns? No. Campaigns and warm-up keep running; Stealth Mode only stops logging, hides numbers and blocks exports. Wassuply is independent software. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
