Pick your country and volume. The calculator estimates how many WhatsApp numbers you need, what Meta's WhatsApp Business API would cost through a provider, and what the same volume costs with Wassuply, a Windows and Mac app that sends from regular WhatsApp numbers with no per-message fees.
Since July 1, 2025 Meta charges the WhatsApp Business API per delivered template message, not per 24-hour conversation. The Meta rates used here are estimates of the per-message marketing rate for each country, based on Meta's 2025 rate card; Meta updates its rate cards regularly, so check the current one before you decide. BSP platform fee estimated at $49/month; actual BSP pricing varies by provider. Virtual WhatsApp numbers (SIM-equivalent) = $0.98/account one-time. Wassuply software = $397 one-time, all future updates included. Wassuply assumes 1,000 cold DMs/account/month (safe limit). Rates are approximate and subject to change. Since July 1, 2025 Meta has charged the WhatsApp Business API per delivered template message (marketing, utility or authentication), at a rate that depends on the recipient's country; before that it charged per 24-hour conversation. For the API column the calculator multiplies your monthly volume by an estimate of the marketing message rate for the country you pick, then adds an estimated $49 a month for a Business Solution Provider (the platform you need to use the API). For the Wassuply column it counts the one-time $397 licence plus the numbers you need, and nothing per message. The rates are estimates; check Meta's current rate cards for today's figures.
The calculator assumes about 1,000 cold messages per number per month, roughly 30 to 35 a day. That matches the cap Wassuply's Health & Risk sets for a number under three months old; older, warmed numbers get higher limits. Read WhatsApp sending limits for the full table, and see how to run multiple WhatsApp accounts on one PC without logging in and out.
At low volume the API can be cheaper in the first year. Past a few thousand messages a month a one-time licence usually wins, and from year two the per-message bill is gone entirely. The API is the right choice for opt-in support and notifications; for cold outreach it is not allowed.
